The Vitamin Shoppe, the 785-unit retailer with a self-describing name, has become the latest national retailer to announce it will start selling CBD products. Walgreens, Rite Aid and CVS have already jumped on the bandwagon as have other smaller retail operations.
For Vitamin Shoppe, it was a no-brainer, CEO Sharon Leite told CNBC. “The customer relationship is the cornerstone of The Vitamin Shoppe’s reinvention, and our customers have told us loud and clear they want CBD.”
